I am sharing another project made for the 31 Days of Halloween Challenge going on all month over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity
This tag that I made for this 11th day uses the RIP stamp and one of the 3 Mini Birds from that set, all from Lost Coast Designs.
The background for my tag is a collage made of a variety of new and vintage papers layered with some Tim Holtz tissue paper. I added a bit of color with some Distress Oxide Ink sprays, randomly applied here and there.
My RIP was stamped with dark green Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of coffee stained paper. I tore around the edges and inked those with Distress Vintage Photo ink. I attached my skeleton to the center of my tag as shown. The mini bird was stamped with black ink onto coffee dyed paper and fussy cut out. I attached him in the lower left corner. Final step was to stitch around the edges of the tag with black thread and tie a piece of coffee dyed muslin to the top of the tag, adding a Tim Holtz Halloween charm.
