Springtime in Paris ATC

Spring greetings to all - I hope spring is coming to your part of the world soon!

I have a fun ATC project I created for GeckoGalz that I want to share with you.  It was made for their "Springtime in Paris" challenge for the month of March.

I started my ATC by using as my background one of the images on the "Postcard Memories 2" collage sheet set.  The cute little couple featured are from the "Kidding Around 2" collage sheet set.  I cut out around them and attached them atop my background. I added butterfly wings to the little girl, and those came from the "Butterfly Dreams 1" collage sheet set.  I used a sticker with "Paris" on it that I had on hand and that went into the upper left corner.  The pink rose in the upper right corner is from the "A Rose is A Rose 1" collage sheet set.  The little basket of roses in the lower left corner is from "The Little Card Toppers" collage sheet.  And the pretty blue flowers in the lower right corner are from the "Postage 1" collage sheet set.  All the flowers were cut out and attached where shown.  I edged the ATC with gold ink and voila!  A sweet springtime ATC!

Play

I made this card for the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity March 1 - 15th Challenge.  The theme of this challenge is "Anything Goes", so this gives everyone the freedom to use whatever theme they choose.

I love the nostalgic children stamps at Lost Coast so used one of these for this card - Star Halo.  I stamped the image onto white paper and then cut out around the figure, excluding the butterfly wings.  My  background was created with the  Doodle Circles Background Stamp.  I used my Gelli plate and some green paint.  Once my plate was covered with the green paint. I pressed the Doodle Circles stamp into the paint then pressed white paper onto my plate and smoothed it out to transfer the design to my paper.  I used some Distress Inks to add color to the circles.  I affixed my stamped image onto the background, then stamped the wings directly onto the background paper so it looks like the wings are transparent.  I stamped the sentiment - PLAY - from Carmen's Veranda with black ink on white paper and cut out around it, attaching it as shown.  And there you have a fun and bright card!

Catch A Butterfly

This was made for the Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creativity mid March Challenge:  More Than Two Legs.  You can join the challenge here:  Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creativity

I  used the Striped Cat stamp for this one - one of the many great Katzelkraft stamps at Lost Coast Designs.  I stamped my cat onto tan  card stock with black ink and cut him out.  I added some google eyes cause I love google eyes!  The background is one I had on hand that I made using Distress inks in shades of yellow and brown and a stencil with dots and lines.  I then stamped over the background with a black scripted stamp.  I centered my cat as shown and cut out an orange butterfly from a collage sheet I had.  I positioned it above his outstretched leg and folded the wings out so it looks like the butterfly is just perching on the tip of his toes.  I layered this with some brown and then white papers.  A fun card for just about any occasion!
