As we near the end of the month long challenge - Let's Fly - over on The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity, I have a card here using one of my very favorite Lost Coast stamps - Rosetti With Butterfly. I love the Arts and Crafts movement and the art that it inspired, so this stamp is very special for me.
My image is stamped with brown ink onto a piece of vintage kraft paper that I have torn and inked the edges of. I layered this with a black panel and layered that with a piece of vintage text from an old book. Final step was to layer that with another black panel.
I started to add some color to this with some markers, but I really like the old look of this the way it is and decided not to do anything that would distract from the wonderful design of the stamp itself.
