Background Forward Challenge for Lost Coast Designs

I made this card for the challenge using a variety of different background stamps from Lost Coast which you can find at Backgrounds on the Lost Coast Website and one of the Grumpy Penguins from the set of three.  The sentiment is one of Carmen's Veranda clearstamps.

I simple stamped my various backgrounds onto white paper with black ink then cut them into one and a half inch squares.  I mounted them creating a mosaic onto black card stock and stitched around the border with black thread.  I added some Distress Alcohol Ink Sprays to give the background some color.  

I stamped my penguin onto white card stock

and added some orange to his beak and a bit of Old Paper Distress Ink to his body so he didn't look quite so white.  I stamped the sentiment onto a white square edged in black and affixed it as shown.

Celebrate: American Gothic Party

Happy June from Laurie with a fun card for our the brand new challenge at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity:  Celebrate!

For this card I used the American Gothic Party stamp from Lost Coast Designs,  and the 

27 Cookies clear stamp from Carmen's Veranda.

I started by stamping my happy couple on white card stock with black ink.  I used various Copic Sketch markers to color it in and added a pearl to the wife's collar and some gold Nuvo Crystal Drops to the husband's jester hat.  I framed it with some gold stickers and colored the outer frame brown.  I layered this onto white then red card stock, stamped my sentiment below the picture, and it's done!

The Color of Summer: GeckoGalz June Challenge

Here is a set of 6 ATCs made for the June Gecko Galz Color of Summer Challenge.  These were made with the Beach Life ATC set as well as the following collage sheets:  Beach Babes, Summer Seas, Here Fishy, Fishy, and Pretty Little Pinups.  I also used some images from the Beachy Keen digital paper pack.
