There is a new challenge that started on the 2nd of February at The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity called "Think Pink or Shades of Red". So your projects for this challenge should focus on color, and the theme is up to you.
I've made a tag for this using the Steampunk Heart stamp from Lost Coast Designs. I spent a couple of hours this weekend making some new Gelli prints at my kitchen island, and I used a piece of one as the base of my tag here. It was made using white and pink acrylic paints and a small circle stencil.
I heat embossed my heart with pink embossing powder onto white card stock and cut it out. I added a jeweled heart as shown and attached it to the center of my tag. I stitched around the edges, punched a hole in the top and threaded two shades of pink seam binding through the hole. So easy and a sweet Valentine tag for a special someone.
Come join this Pink and Red challenge!
Be sure to feature rubber stamping in your projects for a chance to win some free stamps from Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda!
